We are a small group of highly skilled Analog & Digital Engineers that specialize in the design, development and verification of FPGA based signal processing solutions. We have extensive experience and expertise with both Xilinx and Altera FPGA’s. Our FPGA system development is complemented highly by our Mathematical Modeling & Simulation competencies, as every FPGA signal processing chain or algorithm is first developed and debugged in the Matlab environment prior to FPGA implementation. Furthermore, all FPGA implementation is fully exercised by a suite of Matlab generated test vectors to flush out corner cases. This significantly reduces both the time to market and risk.
In addition to our FPGA expertise, SignalPro also possesses a solid foundation in Digital Signal Processing. Whether you have simple filtering needs or are implementing a multichannel IQ demodulator, we can assist. We have extensive knowledge and experience with FIR & IIR Filters, Digital Down Conversion, Coordinate Conversion (CORDIC), Interpolators, Matched Filters & Correlators and Spread Spectrum Modulators & Demodulators just to name a few. We can also provide full system analysis with frequency domain processing of acquired data to identify performance indicators like Dynamic Range or Linearity. Additionally, we can assist with assessing the tradeoffs between, power, size and performance in applications where there are hard constraints.
On the Analog side, we implicitly understand the driving factors that influence the performance associated with data acquisition. Our competencies include the design or application of low noise pre-amplifiers, anti-aliasing filters, ADC/DAC selection, and noise analysis and mitigation techniques. Whether you need a low noise, high CMR differential, chopper stabilized solution for a low frequency sensing application or a single-ended, wide band, low distortion solution for a communications system, SignalPro can help.
We also possess competencies in Power Electronics, both in board level power convertors as well as Motion Control applications associated with PWM Motor Drives.
